Viajando en Español – Santiago

Chile…if we were playing the game, “what comes to mind when I say …..”, upon hearing Santiago de Chile, I would have to say “Sparkling clean!  You could eat off the streets!”  It’s striking really.  If there was a “Chile” in the World Showcase section of Epcot in Disney World, it wouldn’t have been more pristine.  Even the subway reminds one of Disney … gleaming trains and platforms, flat screen TV’s every few yards keeping us up-to-date on the news.   Even the hundred buck ’admission fee’ to get into the country had me thinking of the theme park.  And for all the assets I’ve not mentioned, it’s worth the price.
